The San Francisco Black Panther Party

The San Francisco Public Library is hosting an exhipt of photos, newspaper and memorabilia exploring the personal and historical context  of the San Francisco Black Panther Party from its existence in 1968 in the Fillmore district.

On Feb 3 from 6-7:30 in the Latino/Hispanic Community Meeting Room on the lower level will be a short film and talk, The History of the Black Panther Party, with party member Bill Jennings.

Exhibit runs from January 18-March 12th at the Main Library, third floor, African American Center.
